Boston to Providence

There wasn't a seat left
or a single eye upon me.
left to the right
and all around
not a sound apart from the brakes on the rails
and the opening of doors.

We're on our way there,
I think we're getting closer

We've swiped our ticket
and everyone understands,
that the days before me were just lessons
and the next moment holds a million scenarios
of limitless possibilities.
Just then, as the train apporaches its destination
you catch my eye.
Read this post earlier: "Honestly the government should not extend benefits anymore but instead the government should be paying the people to do much needed work in this country. Why not take that money and tell the people we have jobs for you and have them start fixing up the roads, electrical infastructure and/or other things that need to be done. They did this in the great depression with the parks system have we not learned anything from the past. An honest days wages for an honest days work is the priniciple America was founded on. Can you imagine the impact this would have in areas like New orleans and the areas around it. Pay people to work to cleanup the mess and build new homes. Pay people to work on roads that need repair badly. Pay people to help one another in some shape or form..... is that not what God put us on this earth to do in the first place. Helping clean up innercities. Restore old factories and fit them to build new items of importance and and in the future.
We just cant afford to pay people for doing nothing."

And when there's nowhere else to run
Is there room for one more son?
These changes ain't changing me
The cold-hearted boy I used to be.

Another head aches, another heart breaks
I'm so much older than I can take
And my affection, well it comes and goes.

Yeah, you know you got to help me out
Yeah, oh don't you put me on the back burner.

Baby Baby

Ill never know\

Yeah, ill never know
Yeah, Ill never know how it feels,
I dont know if I can tell you
I dont know if I can stand outside
dont know if youre good enough to be good to me

Ill never know the pain you felt
Ill never know the pain you went thru all your life
I dont know if youlle rememeber me in the end
I dont know if youlle think of me when my life ends

I like the way the earth piles up
On itself
And the runway is overrun with grass growing in the cracks
And my heart gets worn and life goes on and you get torn from it all so damn easily

Ill never know how much I mean to you
Ill never know how it felt the first time
I dont know if youre good enough
I dont know how you let yourself waste your time.\

I like the way the baby says shhh when you cry,
And the ocean is red
and the day of your day is forgotten and you set everybody up and every body failed
and you timed it just right

Baby baby oh baby baby oh baby baby

The Bright side of the road

OK, here goes my optimistic ramble on life, cause I believe in the phrase "It is all good!" and that Van Morrison once said, "We'll be happy once again, on the bright side of the road."
Today, April 30, 2010, is all about not being stuck in our problems, but moving toward a solution. A friend told me that her partner was stuck on something that happened early in their relationship. I asked her what steps were taken to "Right" that "Wrong?"
I am committed to living life one day at a time and handling stuff as it comes at me. Finally seeing into the future a little bit. But ive got to remember to follow that voice inside that is telling me the right answer, and open myself to listen to it.

That is the bright side of the road. "Sometimes we just dont know why. Time seems to go by so fast, in the twinkle of an eye. Lets Enjoy it while we can." -Van Morrison

Loyalty

Loyalty: Whether it's in friendships or in family, loyalty is truly important to maintain a healthy relationship. All of us are guilty, at one time or another, of making mistakes, having ups and downs, and even displaying some behavior that we may not always be proud of.  When we find friends or loved ones who can forgive us and stand by us…even during our worst moments…we should be especially grateful.  That said, loyalty should never be taken for granted and we should always be deeply appreciative when it comes our way.
